Pretty Upsetting, with Pink Paislee

I personally fell IN LOVE with the Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss Collection right away, but like many other paper crafters, my first thought was how to use this very specific paper full of pineapples and flamingos. I knew after brainstorming that it would be perfect for a personal story of mine focusing on pineapple upside down cake!
I created this layout as a Scraplift in the forum, and loved using up the frames stretched across my page to replicate the lift look. I started with a pretty flowered base seeds paper.  To mute the busy look, I stacked a fun pineapple vellum paper atop it.
Not having a photo for my story, I chose to fill my frames with my title, journaling, and fun embellishments.I backed my main title using a fun pineapple paper square found in the 4x4 frames. I created my title using a mix of an embellishment pack and some gold Heidi Swapp glitter alphas.
In creating this layout, hubby added his genius two cents, suggesting I turn my what had been, right side up pineapple, upside down, to better suit my theme. Who says men don't understand this hobby!!! Using my circle punch I cut circles out from the SOUR PAPER and smaller circles from the BRUNCH PAPER.
Finishing off with sprinkling my confetti about, I had completed my first photo free page!!
