No Pants Wednesday

Happy Friday, friends!  Missy back with you today.  Put your sunglasses on for this layout....it's super bright!  I created this layout for a Saturday Scraplift challenge a few weeks ago.  I was inspired by a page made by our awesome member Brenda.  She used a large circle die cut as her main element, and I decided to use one on my page as well.

I used papers and embellishments from the new Bella Blvd Color Chaos collection.  The pie chart cut file is from The Cut Shoppe.  I used some very bright Dylusions ink sprays to create my messy paint splatters and then embellished around the page.

This photo is of my little girl who doesn't like wearing pants...haha.  She was wearing her diaper still, but the pants went missing.  She has no shame and doesn't care who sees her without her pants.  What a silly kid...haha!

I started with a scrap piece of white cardstock and just used some plastic packaging to smudge some Dylusions around.  I made sure each color was dry before adding the next so they wouldn't mix and get muddy.  I love the way the yellow and pink made the pretty orange.

I used the yellow Dylusions to color this cute wood veneer.  I also added some machine stitching around the pie chart.  Yay for me staying inside the lines!  That's a big accomplishment for me because I'm a fast stitcher :)

I pulled that "Wednesday" die cut from the Plus One American Crafts collection and popped it up with some thread underneath.  Those awesome alphas are part of the Bella collection.  I also used a black pen to traced the edges of the die cut.

And one more close up of the photo area.  I used some random bits here...an old circle tag I've had for a really long time and a cute green arrow clip.  That's tissue paper behind my photo.

I did create a process video showing how I put this layout together if you're interested in watching.  Hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

Missy :)
