Hi there, Lisa S here today to share a layout I created using the oh so pretty, Hello Lovely, Cocoa Vanilla collection. My daughter and her friends were attending a Black Out party and took this photo of them with their "cool" faces on...I just thought they looked so pretty!!
I love using the 3 x 4 cards on layouts...they sure make for a clean look! And those wood grain alpha stickers?? Swoon!!! The Flair? Oh man, I sort of wanted to hoard this one...how cute is it?? And the bows? Well, if you bought this line and are hoarding it, now's the time to use it!!!
Hope to see you sharing your layouts with Cocoa Vanilla!!
Hello, TinaGale here! Today I have a layout using the Simple Stories So Rad collection and then lots of things from my stash.
Using 6x6 pads is a great way to get a sampling of all the paper in a collection as well as I love the smaller prints so you can really use a lot of different patterns on a page. Be sure to come back each day this week for more inspiration from the Design Team using 6x6 paper pads!
Here's a look at the process

I love layering up all kinds of embellishments and mixing collections. I mixed the cork word from the Journey collection and alphas from the Simple Stories Summer Vibes collection.
Tucking in labels and circles are a great way to build up a cluster. Adding enamel dots is the perfect finishing touch. I loved this quote in the Cocoa Vanilla Made of Awesome sticker sheet.
Tags are another great way to start out a cluster embellishment. The twine adds some great texture and dimension to your layout.
Hi there, Lisa here today to share a layout I created for our Tuesday Trigger Challenge in the forums. The challenge for June is to use Dads, Yellow and/or Sunshine on your page. I used a sunshiney collection, the Simple Stories Summer Vibes Collection to create a page about my youngest daughter and her daddy. Yellow embellies just finished it off...
I just loved working with the Summer Vibes collection. It's definitely versatile and doesn't need to be used JUST for summer photos. The collection kit is an amazing value, too...Kit HERE. It comes with one of each of the papers and stickers, including alphas and can be used for traditional or pocket scrapbook pages. And as an enabler alert, the Recollections flowers from Michaels are the perfect shade of mint and yellow for the collection. :) Hope to see you linking us up with this month's challenge. We love to see your work!
Hello and welcome to the weekend! Hope yours is off to a great start! Today, I'm sharing a layout I created for this week's Word Up Wednesday challenge. I used Dear Lizzy's new Fine and Dandy collection from the My Scraps and More Shop! I love the birthday themed embellishments and the fun colors of this line!
I used of of the gold foil numbers from the Ephemera pack for my title, as well as the cute sentiment tag!
The collection includes two sheets of 6x12 Chipboard Accents which includes these adorable candles! For the challenge, I asked participants to incorporate an embellishment they don't use often. I still have a large jar of buttons so I decided to use a few that coordinate with the colors of the papers.
Loving the bright colors and prints!
Check out the My Scraps and More Shop to see this collection and much more!
Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to check to the forums for daily challenges and inspiration!
Hello and Happy Saturday! I can't believe May is half way over! Before we know it, summer will be here! Today I'm sharing a layout I created using Crate Paper's very cute new line: Poolside. The light colors and eye-catching patterns do not disappoint and the assortment of embellishments is brilliant!
The package of ephemera is full of gold accent pieces and cute little tags! I also love the
Layered Embellishment pack which includes the round wood enamel accents, tags, and enamel dots!
I used one of the cute arrows from the Ephemera pack for my title! I love that its lined in glitter gold! I used a circle cut file for my background and inserted different patterned papers.
Aren't the pinwheels adorable? These come on the Standout Stickers which include layered summer themed stickers as well!
Showing more of the Ephemera pieces and well as a journaling spot from the coordinating sticker sheet.
Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the My Scraps and More Shop to snag this collection as its going fast! And don't forget to check Facebook for our weekly Sunday challenge tomorrow! Have a great day!
Hello and happy Saturday to you! Today I have a layout I created using Amy Tangerine's new Rise and Shine collection! I adore the fun, bright colors of this collection! Perfect for just about any theme for your page!
I used some of my American Craft black foam Thickers for my title. I think the black helps the pattern colors pop!
My background is a cute cut file from Just Nick called "Pebbles". I added different patterns into random windows as well as stamped a sentiment in the center of this particular circle.
Love the silver accents in this line! Here is a camera die cut that I popped up with foam dots.
I used a wooden veneer frame from Amy Tangerine's Stitched line and a tag from Rise and Shine for my journaling. I love how you can mix embellishments from different collection!
Thanks for stopping by today! Are you doing any crafting this weekend? Be sure to shop at
My Scraps and More to see all of the new goodies in stock! Have a great day!
Hi there, Lisa here today to share the second in a series I am going to call "A Layout in my Cart". I love browsing through the store when all the new products arrive, (well, let's face it, anytime!) and sometimes, something just jumps out at me and begs me to create a page with it.
Today, it was this paper by Shimelle that got me going....
I actually really like the backside too, so I would want to maybe use two of these, but I think I'll go with one today. How cute are those coffee cups? I think they need to be fussy cut. Okay...let's see what I'm building this on...
I really like this paper by Studio Calico and think it might be fun with a wash of gesso or even some stamped rings.....
Or maybe this one...with some pops of the orange paper above? Citrus Bloom Yes. Now we're talking...
I think one of these envelopes would be cool tucked under the photo... Maybe to save my receipt?
I'm all about the gold trend and these stickers would make for a great title....I'd use either "today" "captured" or "hello"...how about even "go try" if it's a new flavor drink you're having??
and how about using a couple of the hearts from this set?
Ohh..I'm so excited to scrap now! I just love how inspired I feel with new products! Hope I've inspired you to go shopping, too!! Have a great day!
How do you like your ice cream? The kids always get rainbow Sprinkles! :) I kinda like them, too!
I used The Pier collection from Crate Paper and have just been eating this line up (pun intended) doing summer pages! There were some cute little ice cream embellishments that were perfect! This page is based off of today's sketch on the My Scraps & More sketch blog, which you can see HERE.
I love the gold accents in this line in some of the embellishments and even the Thickers. Here are lots of layers, some enamel dots from MME, and some die cuts.
I used some gold polka dot washi tape from my stash to add a bit more gold. Lots of papers layered behind the photos.
Some chipboard and buttons from my stash plus a bit of stitching in pink.
Last week I posted about how much I love the "Lakeside" collection from Pebbles and today I am going to share some more layouts that I made! The kids love running up and down the dock and jumping off of it into the water! I wanted to use a really big photo to capture the size of the dock.
I used every piece of patterned paper that came in this collection on this page. With the large photo, I was able to use a lot of the patterns together and still not distract from it.
I simply cut a whole bunch of strips of paper and distressed them all and started layering them down the sides of the photo. Then I machine stitched down the edges of my photo.
I just layered a few simple embellishments and stickers to top it off and kept it simple in that department!
The Lily Bee collections in the store right now have some AWESOME prints and colors for the summer. The best thing about Lily Bee papers is that they are generic enough in patterns, and the prints are small enough that you can use them on virtually ANY page.
I went through my Lily Bee stash and found some papers from the Sweet Shoppe and Pinwheel collections that had circles or "bubble" shapes on them and used them for my page.
I wanted the circles to "pop" off the page, so I cut the lower layers of paper to provide a thin white border, and the I also used some pop dots. I love the way the arrows on the page make it feel like the circles are going in different directions.
Check out these two collections for some great basic papers to have on stash!
Want to know how to entertain a 2 year old and a 4 year old for 2 hours? Some dishsoap, water, and washcloths...then tell them it's a car wash! Works every time!
I love the layout of this page! I was of course inspired by today's sketch on the blog! You can check it out HERE.
I've also been trying to use some bits in my stash here and there: some old stickers from Sassafrass and October Afternoon, fabric brads and transparencies from Basic Grey, and alphas from Heidi Swapp and Lily Bee.
A few weekends ago I had my 15 year college reunion! It felt like just yesterday that I graduated. When I got back together with the girls, we hadn't missed a beat! :)
I used the Crate Paper DIY Shop on this page. This collection is SOOOO different. You can get some many looks on your pages because the patterns are so versatile. I went for a more feminine look on this page.
I fussy cut out a lot of flowers and the doilies. Its easy to make embellishments just by fussy cutting papers!
I used some gold glittered cardstock and cut a few circles and a heart and tucked them here and there to add some sparkle. I added a few buttons, too!
My numbers I also cut from patterned paper and I used a small vellum envelope behind my photo to add my journaling!
