First Day

Hello everyone!  Happy Labor Day weekend to our US friends!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created for this week's Tuesday Trigger challenge!  I used one of my favorite Amy Tangerine lines: Stitched. I love the bright colors with a water color feel!  Its tradition to take photos on the front porch on the first day of school and I couldn't wait to scrap this one!  

I used the multi colored print of Thrifted at the top of my page with the fun calendar print on Felted. These black foam American Craft Thickers were perfect for my title!

 I LOVE these new Mini Washi Tapes from Amy Tangerine's new release: Finders Keepers!  I thought the colors went well with my layout!  

Using my hand punch, I added some pennants from a few of the patterned papers under my photo and at the top of my page. I kind of have a thing for banners!  

 I also added a wood veneer title from Evalicious as well as some fun enamel shapes from my stash!

Lisa here today to share a layout with you. I am sharing the layout I created for my Tuesday Trigger challenge over on the forum at MS&M.
Our themes this month are: July Celebrations, red, white & blue, stars or patriotic. I chose stars for my layout and used Amy Tangerine Plus One along with a star cut file.

 

I used an orange Gelato and colored the cut file and then added a little water with my finger:

 

I used an Amy tangerine frame to frame one of my photos. The "My" stickers are from my stash as well as the baseball, which I tucked some thread behind.

 

I used some Thickers for my title and the arrows are fussy cut from one of the Amy Tangerine papers. I finished the layout off with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist spatters.

Hello and happy Saturday to you!  Today I have a layout I created using
Amy Tangerine's new Rise and Shine collection! I adore the fun, bright colors of this collection!  Perfect for just about any theme for your page!  

I used some of my American Craft black foam Thickers for my title. I think the black helps the pattern colors pop!  

My background is a cute cut file from Just Nick called "Pebbles".  I added different patterns into random windows as well as stamped a sentiment in the center of this particular circle. 

Showing more of the the fun embellishments, including Transparent Stickers and Ephemera Shapes! 

Love the silver accents in this line! Here is a camera die cut that I popped up with foam dots. 

I used a wooden veneer frame from Amy Tangerine's Stitched line and a tag from Rise and Shine for my journaling.  I love how you can mix embellishments from different collection!
