Fall in Georgia

Happy Saturday, friends!  Missy here with you today.  This page excites me...mainly because it's the type of photo I normally never get to scrap....Fall leaves!  Earlier this month, I was able to visit a friend in Georgia.  The leaves were GORGEOUS!  I live in central Florida, and we don't get this beautiful season change.  I was stoked to get to see it in person, and even though we missed the peak by about a week, I was still mesmerized by the bold leaf colors.

So this page was for today's Saturday Steal challenge, and I lifted a beautiful page by member Colette.  She used a panoramic photo, so I had to do the same.  I used a variety of brands here...some Acorn Avenue from Crate Paper (a line from last year), some My Mind's Eye (the wood grain) and some cardstock (which I painted).

I cut these leaves on my Cameo and then painted them to match.  Isn't that wood leaf adorable?  It's also from the Crate Paper line.  I knew I'd have a Fall photo at some point to scrap :)

I also cut these leaves and then painted them with acrylic paint.  I love how they turned out!  Paint can do wonders when you need to create a matching embellishment that you don't have in your collection or stash.

Stickers, wooden leaves and cord all add some cuteness to my bottom cluster here.

I like how this button and cord added a nice touch to the top part of my layout.

You should come check out our challenges over on the boards if you haven't yet!  Lots of fun going on over there.

And...check this out....a SALE!
