Good Monday Morning Giveaway!!!

Good morning!! What a day already!! Today is my kids first day back to school. It was delayed a week because of earthquake damage and now today, we get a call that the building had been evacuated due to a strong odor. We were to keep our kids at home until the all clear call. What?? So...finally the first day of school has begun. Normally I am the Mom who cries every first day...I love my kids home with me...but I guess because of all the confusion of the morning...no tears. This is a first for me! That was my morning, hope your went more smoothly. Let's get on with "Giveaway Monday" !!!

Blog Sketch Challenge #5

It's Thursday! That means sketch challenge day here at My Scraps! This sketch was fun to create but even MORE fun to play with! I hope that you will feel the same way! I used the "mr. Boy" collection from Bella Blvd on this layout of my grandson Cole. The title "An adventure waiting to happen" is so him...always on the go and so full of energy! I love this little guy!! Since I think this Bella line is so cute, that is what you are playing for this week...the Bella "mr. Boy" collection! kickin' it old school!

Today was my turn at the scrap{stash} challenge on the message board so I decided to dig out an old photo to scrap. I love these papers from Crate Paper and thought they looked great for the "vintage" look of the photo. (am I talking vintage about me??) As scrapbookers, we all have a "stash" of some sort, whether it be old or new, so my challenge is this, if you would like to play along... 1) use brads 2) use at least 3 patterned papers (old or new) 3) use an old picture.

It was fun digging this picture out and scrapping the memory (I am the one on the right)! If you decided to play along, I would love for you to share the link here so we can all be inspired by your take on the challenge!!
