We had a run of temps over 100, then a drastic drop down to 80, and this week is going back up to 100. I'm really wanting it to be Fall right now....
But in the meantime, since I am hiding from the sun, the heat, the humidity,....and everything else that goes with it, I made a few pages for this month's reveal using Jillibean papers. I was given a mix of Homemade 6 Bean Soup and Sweet and Sour Soup.
I really like the versatility of all the designs and colors. I tried to mix up a few techniques too.
On my first page, I used a Gluber and some ribbon to make my own flowers. And the leaves were cut out of larger leaves.
I added a bit of twine to my papers and put the butterflies on pop dots to make them "fly".
Here was an attempt at making a "quilted" page to go with the journal card. I added more twine and brads to "tie" it all together.
And this page was put together with lots of scraps. I love how all the different circles came together so well.
Stick with us this week as the rest of the DT will be revealing all of their wonderful projects! You won't want to miss out on the inspiration!
Have a great week!!!
