When In Doubt
Hey there scrappy friends!
Lisa here with you today to share a layout I created using JillBean Summer Red Raspberry Soup. I used a photo of me dancing that the photographer took at my nephews wedding. What a fun night we had! I used a large 12x12 paper from this collection for my background and the rest was created using the 6x6 pad. I love using the pads because of the smaller designs.

Here are some close ups:
This diecut "When in doubt, dance it out" was perfect for this photo. I added some thread and diecuts from this collection and also a wood veneer butterfly and arrow.
This layout was also created using my sketch I posted over on the forum for Friday's Sketchathon challenge. There is still time to play along!

Bug Friends.
Hello and good morning...
Today I am sharing a layout with you about something funny that my little one does. She got a bag of fake bugs and loves to play with them. She calls them her "bug friends". It was too cute not to capture. It's always fun to take those little everyday moments and scrap the cute things they do, sometimes they don't do them for too long, and I don't want to forget them.
I used the Simple Stories I Am collection, which has totally become one of my favorites forsure.
The butterfly diecut was perfect for this page, and then popped on some enamel dots and a bit of misting splats:
I added a bit of journaling on the arrow and layered my embellies here, using the sticker sheet, I just LOVE the feathers in the line:
Here is the sketch I created for the sketch-a-thon:
I'd love to see how you used the sketch, so please share if you do. You can always link up in the forums for the month long sketchathon and play along...
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!!

I Love Sunshine!!!
Happy Monday everyone!! There are only a few more days left of our Sketchathon!!! I can't believe it!
I used some Bella Blvd Campout a some bits of Color Chaos for my page based on my last sketch this month:
I tried to find papers that were kind of "lizard-y", lol! The brown and the green were the perfect colors and the bits of orange, yellow and navy added some great contrast!
I love working with different sized squares on a page. It's a simple and fun way to use up some smaller scraps but still have an interesting design. I added a frame over my focal photo to make it stand out just a bit more! And there is a little arrow pointing to the lizard Charlotte was trying to catch.
Arriving today in the shop is I Love Sunshine by Echo Park!! I just love these bright colors and fun summer icons!

Cali girls with Jillibean Soup
Good morning friends! I am sharing a fun layout I created using the fun new Saffron Yellow collection by Jillibean Soup. I loved all the bright and fun colors in this line, and loved using the bright yellow paper for my layout about the Cali sunshine!
I love how fun the colors in this line are, and fussy cutting all the little circles from the sliced yellow peppers paper was so fun. I wanted to create a large title with my silhouette and offset it with the super fun mini alpha stickers for my journaling. Just two years living in Cali, truly made us realize how much we love the year round sun. The girls commented nearly once a week in this NY winter how they miss Cali!
Using my fussy cut circles and my trusty colored sequins, I created a focal trail just above my title!
After mating my photo of my "California girls" I added a few more embellishments found from the yellow pepper stickers. I just love the fun arrows and journaling spots in this sticker sheet. they mixed the shapes and colors up so you can choose to stick with one color for a layout like I did, or use them together for a more playful look.
I created this playful layout to go along with my last sketch for this months SKETCHATHON on the forum. I have truly loved being part of my first sketchathon here at MSAM, and am amazed by all the creative pages everyone has come up with.
I hope yall have a lovely Sunday and stop in the forum to complete the week with more sketchs!

The Best Ever
Hello friends! Happy Saturday to you! Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using
Fancy Pants Designs' Flutter collection from the My Scraps and More shop! The colors of this line have just enough girly without going overboard! And the patterns are amazing! I love the multicolored pages the best!
Flutter comes with lots of embellishments including Ephemera and cute coordinating Flair! I layered a few pieces under my photo and added journaling.
For my background, I used a cut file and added different patterned papers into random triangles. I also layered more of the coordinating die cuts and stickers from Flutter above my photo.
Here, I adhered a few of the small colored and gold circles from the Ephemera pack. I also added some sequins from my stash as well.
I used a wood grain embossing folder for a few of my triangles to give texture to my cardstock.
Thanks for reading! Stop by the MSAM shop to see this and all of the NEW collections!
Have a great day!

Captured
Happy Friday...yay! Missy here. Today I'm sharing my latest layout using Sketch #104 over on the Sketch Blog. The crazy talented Nicole Nowosad is the Guest Designer of the sketch, and it's awesome for adding lots of long layers.
I pulled out some of the Crate Paper Open Book and Kiss Kiss collections and came up with this soft layout. I really love the tones of these colors. I used black & white photos to really make them pop. My favorite parts of this layout are: the gold heart vellum, the transparent overlay, and those gorgeous glitter Thickers!
I did add a bit of gesso and watercolors to this, but I didn't go overboard. I also sprayed a bit of gold Color Shine onto some plastic packaging for a bit more shine.
It doesn't get any better than gold glitter! I layered a few die cuts here, as well as a rub-on and some stitching.
Lots of things going on here...a flair button from my stash with some tangled thread under it, a gold rub-on, and a lovely acetate die cut to add a bit more green.
This vellum is just amazing...it's just so pretty and gives the perfect amount of shine. It did want to warp slightly when it got wet, but my stitching took care of that :)
I hope you are able to play along with the sketch challenge this month! Go HERE to check it all out!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
Missy :)

Celebrate!
Hi there, Lisa S here today to share this layout I created using the brand new and absolutely beautiful Maggie Holmes and Crate Confetti line.
The beautiful golds, aquas and pinks are SO on trend and make for perfectly coordinated layouts. I think my favorite parts of the collection are the Chipboard and the Ephemera Embellishments. Other than a little bit of the Specialty Vellum Paper and the Gold Foil Specialty Paper from the Crate Journey collection the whole layout is built on those embellishments. So easy!! Have fun shopping!!!!

Sweet Girl.
Hello and good morning....
Happy Tuesday!!!
One thing I love doing is grabbing an older pack of printed photos and thumbing through them and finding one that just begs to be scrapped. This photo of my little one is from almost a year ago, and I couldn't resist using the Fancy Pants Flutter collection with it.
I decided to go with more of an open "white" space feel of the page, and just add misting on the sides and a few accent embellies.
I several embellies from the ephemera pack, cutting the flower in half and then several of the butterfly diecuts:
I also added just a hint of gold on the page and topped off the title with a hashtag title (it's all the rage... right?)
Here is the sketch I created for the page for the sketch-a-thon:
So if you use the sketch, make sure to post, I'd LOVE to check out how you used it... and make sure to get what you can of the Flutter collection, it's going quick, and the colors in the line work with boy and girls pages!!! always a plus in my book :)

Celebrating!
I like having an excuse to make cupcakes, so the kids and I make them for everyone's birthday, and then have fun enjoying them ourselves! We made these ones for Grandma, and the kids had fun using Christmas and Valentine's day decorations, and whatever other random yummies we could find for the tops!
The Confetti collection from Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper was the perfect colors and embellies to match my page!
And this page is based off of my sketch today for the Sketchathon!
I love the gold glitter accents on the specialty papers. The best part about the glitter is that is does NOT come off the papers!
I added a few brads from my stash, and of course I couldn't have a celebration page without some sequins and enamel dots!
Speaking of Celebrating, have you seen what's new in the store lately??? A TON of stuff from American Crafts, Crate Paper, Chickaniddy Crafts, Pink Paislee and more.
BUT, it's about to get even crazier! Today, I am expecting Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy,
Shimelle True Stories, and Crate Paper Poolside!!!
