Meet our 2nd Guest Designer for Febrary!!

It has been wonderful having Sherri and Ginni as part of our team this month.  So let's get to know Sherri a little better.

I'm Sherri and I live in East Texas half way between Dallas and Shreveport.  I've been scrapping for about 10 years.  I started out by making a gift album for my nephew for his graduation from high school.  Then I did a graduation album for my God-daughter that same year for her high school graduation.  I remember having one little scrapbooking tote and thinking it was so big, how could I ever fill it up.  Now I have a room full of "stuff".  I still love making gift albums!  It's fun to take a friend's drawer of photos and put them into a scrapbook for their kids when they graduate or have some other big occasion and see their expressions when they look through the scrapbook.  It's brings my heart joy.  

My hubby and I have been married for 30 years and I have two boys, both Eagle Scouts, Jeremy age 22 and Timothy age 19.  I now also have a daughter-in-law and the most precious granddaughter, my Gracie girl who is 20 months old.  Everyone says being a grandma is the best thing ever, and they are not kidding.  You can't even really describe it until it happens to you.  So after scrapping boys (scouts, cars, acting, cross country) for years and years, I finally get to scrap a baby girl!  I used to borrow friends photos just so I could scrap girl pages.  Yes, I already have a full scrapbook from her first year.  We have a group of friends that met online and we have been having a Texas scrap get together once or twice a year for the last 8 years.  It is always such a joy to get away and hang out and laugh and have girl time!  I highly recommend it.  I have enjoyed My Scraps and more ever since Lisa introduced me to it.  Love the fun challenges.  I'm looking forward to helping out with "Scrapping Idol" this month!
