Giveaway Monday!

Good Morning! Happy President's Day to you! Those of you who are Moms probably are not alone today since I think most schools honor this holiday but not us. We have school but were fortunate to get just enough snow last night to give us a two hour delay so I am getting on here a little later than usual. If only school was 2 hours late everyday!!! That would be nice!

Let's start off with our winner of the echo park papers from last week... Alison Day! You were lucky enough to be picked by random.org this week! Please email me your shipping information so I can get your goodies out to you!!

This week for our giveaway I have some papers and sticker elements from not one, but TWO, Basic Grey lines... Oxford and Out of Print!  Leave me a comment here by midnight February 26th, for your chance to win!

If you are not already joining us for all of the fun on our message board, now is the time! During the month of March we will be having a month long crop called "Let's Lift It!" You guessed it...we will be lifting layouts of many of our favorite scrapbook artists. It is sure to be a ton of fun and in true My Scraps style, many prizes to be won! Please head on over to the forum and read all about it and let us know you will be playing along!! Pre-crop challenges start this Saturday!!

I will end today with a little share I created for a Valentine color challenge on the board. I really like how it turned out, though I can't get the camera to do it justice!

    Beautiful page!

    I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of school being delayed two hours. I understand the concept of a snow day (though I've never experienced one, being from the San Francisco area), but a delay of two hours perplexes me. Do you get out at the regular time, or does the day go two hours longer? If it ends at the regular time, do you make up those hours somehow, the way snow days are made up? If it ends late, what happens to after-school activities that aren't associated with the school?

    hey Cindy...when we have a delayed start, we still get out at the normal time and all after school activities go as planned. They can still count it as a day of school here if lunch is served. We get quite a lot of delayed starts in the winter season!

    Yup. My whole family is off work and school today, but unfortunately my husband is sick. So much for a day off!

    love the fact that we have a holiday here to in Ontario---Family Day--we've watched a movie together---did some cleaning together and made cookies for dessert
