footprints

Good morning friends! I hope everyone had a sweet filled day yesterday. I love seeing all of the sweet, love inspired scrappy projects on the internet this time of year, but personally I am not a huge fan of using generic Valentine product. The pinks and reds are not a look I gravitate towards. With this in mind, but still wishing to create a great love inspired layout, I created this layout to memorialize some of the most influential women in my lifespan so far.
I started this layout with the vision to piece together my background with a few awesome papers that caught my eye in the store! I have always been a fan of Studio Calico Product and just loved the fun tones in these Brighton Pier papers HERE and HERE. I also instantly LOVED this green flowered paper from Pebbles, it has such a fun color and look! And of course I had to use up a grid paper to complete the look.
I splayed my photos and journaling and worked my embellishments from the inside/out. I jut knew I had to use that awesome burlap bow by Fancy Pants on my page. I have been eyeing it for awhile now and thought it may be too bulky for my taste, but it is far too awesome in person!
Of course I had to add in all my floating elements, and naturally chose some floating hearts to make it a bit more festive for the holiday time!

I hope this layout encourages you to create seasonal layouts a bit outside the box! There are so many great products to use up still in shop before more new awesome lines come in this coming week! The papers I selected were already an amazing price, but you cannot beat adding another 20% off with this months code LOVETHIS20 !Thank you so much for peeking in, and I hope you all stay warm in this crazy weather!
