Juliana Michaels, the artist behind 17turtles, has had a love affair with creating and designing for years. When she first discovered scrapbooking over 15 years ago, it gave her a way to combine her two loves to form a creative outlet that brings her so much joy and happiness. This past year, she began creating her own digital cut files to use with her Silhouette Cameo on her scrapbook pages and other craft projects. I chose to use the Floral Bouquet cut file from the 17turtles store:

I loved the bold, open lines of this design and thought it would be great with some bright, spring-y colors, so I used some Pinkfresh Studio "Up in the Clouds" papers from the My Scraps store.

Because the papers were so brights, I decided to cut my flowers from white cardstock and do a bit of a white on white design.  When doing white on white, its a good idea to not glue your pieces down entirely flat, so that you can leave a bit of a shadow to make the design stand out better. 

 It's also a good idea to have some of the white pieces overlapping colored papers, too, to see the designs better.

I used every single piece from the cut file, placing all the little leaves here and there.  Then I layered a lot of the foil die cuts from the collection around the page.
