Good Morning!! Wouldn't it be nice to look forward to Monday's just as much as most of us look forward to Fridays? Hopefully my Giveaway Monday post helps to make this day something to look forward to. Today is especially great for this lucky winner from last week...

Cindy deRosierFebruary 5, 2013 at 2:10 PMLOVE your layout! What a great way to use up those last bits of paper in a collection that you love. And I agree- it would look great with washi too! I am just getting into washi. I haven't used it on too many projects, but I definitely see the appeal.

Congratulations Cindy! Send me your shipping information and I will get your tapes sent out to you!! Today's giveaway it is all about LOVE for Valentine's Day...

  1. We don't have any specific plans, but I think we will be spending the evening quietly at home or going for dinner at a local restaurant.

  7. Probably not too much. My birthday is Tuesday so we tend to lump them both together.

  8. We usually don't do anything special but this year we are going out to dinner. I am really looking forward to getting dressed up and going out!! I am off this year which is nice. I will treat my daughter and her friends at lunchtime to a little Valentine treat also :)

  9. I will be spending the early afternoon with my husband, before he goes to work. The late afternoon and evening will be spent in my craft room and on the couch reading. :) Sounds like my perfect kind of day.

  10. We usually go out to lunch for Valentines Day, that was we don't have to find a sitter, its not as crowded and we get better service because we don't have exhausted, too busy servers! Plus that gives me the evening to spend with my younger Valentines!

  12. Unfortunately, I will be spending this Valentine's Day doing what I do every Thursday....WORKING! I am sure in the evening my hubby and I will probably watch a romantic movie if we are not too tired. Thanks for the Monday giveaway....it does make Monday easier to handle.

  13. I have a MOPS meting in the morning. My husband and I haven't made specific plans yet but we usually go to a local restaurant for a simple but pleasant meal together.

  14. Honestly, I'm not sure how we will spend Valentine's Day. It actually falls on a night hubby will be home. It seems it usually falls on one of his long days at work. I told him I would be fine just sitting at home and him grilling steaks (he does make the second best steaks I know--his mom makes the absolute best). That way we aren't having to fight the crowds, and he can relax after working all day.

  21. Yea!! Thank you - totally made my day!!

I'm spending Valentine's Day volunteering in the 1st grade classroom (as I do every Thursday), then I'll be taking my son to his book club. My husband has a Scout meeting in the evening, so no plans for a romantic dinner or anything.

  22. Nothing real special at my house.
I'll be making my son and husband some chocolate cookies and we all exchange cards.

  29. Just a nice relaxing evening at home with my husband and son.

  30. Valentine's day is Fondue Night with the kids! We only do chocolate fondue once a year and usually stay home (going out on Valentine's Day has become nothing but frustration, expense and noise! Far more intimate to have dinner at home).

  31. My husband and I are spending Valentine's evening with our 2 year old daughter. We'll go to a (hopefully uncrowded) restaurant and just enjoy each other's company: spilled milk, crumbs and all!

  32. My husband and I learned long ago that going out on Valentine's Day is so stressful with packed restaurants and poor service. Now we spend a relaxing evening at home as a family and then go out the weekend following when things have quieted down!

  33. My husband works on Vday, but we plan to celebrate it over the weekend. The 15th is also our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Wow!! 10 years of married bliss, time sure flies!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  34. My grandson was born on Valentines Day, so we usually go out to eat somewhere and combine both days.

  35. My husband and I are celebrating Valentine's Day this weekend by going to a hockey game. Hey, I'll go anywhere and do anything as long as we get to go out on a date every so often!

  36. I spent the evening with my kids since my husband bowls on Thursday nights. My son was born on Valentine's Day so we all went out to eat at his choice. Hubby and I will go out for dinner at a later time.
