I find the easiest way to scrap is with a kit. I love having all the work done for me: the perfect matching papers created from different collections and amazing embellies to tie it all together. This kit was created by our fabulous store owner Audrey.
This page was created using a variety of the simple stories
pieces in the kit. Two different pattern
papers, bright green chevron and hello December, were layered behind the photo
then distressed to give the page dimension. The phrases “It’s the most
wonderful time of the year!” and “Merry Christmas” were both cut from pieces of
Simple Stories pattern paper. A little
fussy cutting allowed the pieces to slip around the different elements in the
page. The banner strips were also fussy
cut from the same paper. The large glittery star provided the perfect accent
for my shining star (Simple Stories letter stickers) at her Christmas
Performance.
A piece of Fancy Pants corrugated cardboard was added in for more
dimension and then a few small touches of stickles and glossy accents were also added for a bit more shine for this
festive page.
