Some Baseball, a Birthday and an Egg Hunt

Hello and good morning...

Wow!!! I can't believe it's already May!!! where did April go??? Well the forums were busy during the month of April with the sketchathon going on and I snuck some time to play along with a few of the sketches, so I'm sharing some of my pages with you....

I used some of the Elle's Studio Everyday Moments collection for a baseball page of my son:

The twist with the sketch was to add a bit of doodling, and I added some enamel dots and misting to the page also:

Next up, I used the Jillibean Soup Birthday Bisque collection for another birthday page of my lil one:

I fussy cut out several of the balloons from the Bunch of Balloons paper and added them as embellies and several of the coordinating stickers from the line:

Last up, I used a mix of the Heidi Swapp Dreamy papers and Heidi Swapp Favorite Things- the two lines were perfectly for interchanging, on this layout of my lil one and her first real Easter egg hunt:

I added misting on the page, along with inking my wood hexagons through the page:

and added lots of layers through the page, along with some stitching to hold it all together:

So if you missed it, the Sketchathon was a blast!!!! But you can still check out the sketches in the forum and start playing along with the May daily challenges that are posted...

Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

  5. These are both great Wendi... I really love the baseball layout (it's a boy thing)... and I love how it's portioned into 4 design spaces, but it works amazingly well together. ... love your doodling too!!
