Giveaway Monday 10/15/12

Happy Monday to you all!! I hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend. Mine was highlighted with my son's birthday party for his friends at the park. We played flag football, corn hole, ate pizza and just had a blast!!! I am sure you will see some pictures in some layouts soon!!

Today's giveaway sticks with Design Team reveal week here at My Scraps & More, which features the Lost & Found Halloween collection. This line is full of beautiful glittered and non-glittered papers to dress up those spooky photos. They also work great with the everyday pictures as well, that Missy showcased on her blogpost yesterday!! Here is a layout that I put together from Halloween last year, of my son and his not-so-scary Halloween costume...a soccer player. All three of my kids were never ones to want to get into the Halloween spirit. What's the deal with that?!? I loved it as a kid!!

Leave me a comment by midnight on the 21st  letting me know your favorite costume you or your kids dressed up as, for your chance to win the Lost & Found Halloween collection kit! Our lucky winner from last week is...

  7. So many of my kid's costumers were my favorites! Probably because I made most of them. I remember turning sweatsuits into all sorts of super heros- Batman, Superman, etc. - which he would wear all year long! Thank you for a chance to win!

  9. Great layout, awesome line!
    Yay, crop! Can't wait!!!
My favorite costumes are the ones my kids come up with on their own. One year my oldest was Cruella Deville and my younger daughter went as a princess zombie. Love when they get creative.

  10. I LOVE Halloween and fortunately, my son does too. He's had some fun costumes over the years. Last year's was a knight costume. I found a teensy, tiny, itty-bitty circle stamp and hand-stamped 8 bazillion-jillion circles on sweatpants and a sweatshirt to make the chainmail that went under his tunic. It was a ridiculous amount of work but the effect was pretty cool.

  11. I remember when my sons were in pre-school and they wanted to be a Person who worked at McDonalds so I made him a chef and that is his true career. Funny -- I will have to look for those pictures.

  13. My favorite costume ever wasn't one of mine or my kids' but rather one of my mom's. I was 5 years old when she was pregnant w my sister. That year she made her own costume and dressed up as an elephant with the big belly and a long trunk. I love that she got into the spirit of things when we were kids!!

  14. My oldest granddaughter one year had a dog face mask and then wore sweats with fur patches velcroed on the sweatshirt and pants. Looked like a mixed color dog. She even had a tail attached to the back. Then she took a cardboard box with rope for straps and on the box she wrote "Free puppies and put some of the small pound puppies in it and some were hanging over the side. One of the cutest costumes that I remember and so easy to make.

  15. One of my favorite memories was dressing up a surgical nurse even with the face mask and going trick or treating with my three kids. I only did that once and I should do it again. I had a blast. Love your layout and would love to win that MME collection. Thanks for the chance to win.
