I chose the This is Magic cut file.

The words can be put together in so many cute ways.  I chose to use the words "hello happy"  for my layout.  They perfectly explained how my daughter felt when she received this gift.

I used Dear Lizzy Serendipity papers and embellishments for my layout.  They matched her Footie Pajamas perfectly! Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stop by the 17turtles website and each of the posts this week here for your chance to win prizes!

17Turtles and My Scraps collaboration week!

I am so so excited about what will be happening here on the My Scraps & More blog this week!

We have teamed up with 17turtles, owned by Juliana Michaels, and our team will be sharing their projects all week!

17turtles offers a wide range of digital cut files that are perfect for paper crafting, scrapbooking and other craft projects such as cards, home decor, wall art, and more. When you purchase a digital download from 17turtles you will receive a zipped file that includes 1 SVG, 1 PNG and 1 DXF file. These files are for use with a wide variety of electronic cutting machines that will open and cut digital files. You can use 17turtles cut files with both the Silhouette Studio Software and the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software. You do not have to use the Trace feature because the cut lines are already there for you. You will find a versatile mix of designs including multiple layered images, single layer images, backgrounds, pocket cards, tags, borders, titles and more. Visit the 17turtles Etsy Shop for all of your digital cut files needs at www.etsy.com/shop/17turtles.

Juliana Michaels, the artist behind 17turtles, has had a love affair with creating and designing for years. When she first discovered scrapbooking over 15 years ago, it gave her a way to combine her two loves to form a creative outlet that brings her so much joy and happiness. This past year, she began creating her own digital cut files to use with her Silhouette Cameo on her scrapbook pages and other craft projects. She has now opened 17turtles as a way to share her digital design creations with others. For more ideas, inspiration and tutorials about using her cut files, you can visit her blog at www.17turtles.com.

How would you like to win a $20 gift certificate to the 17 Turtles store? All you have to do is visit the store and let us know what your favorite cut file is in the comments on this post.

Every day this week, a My Scraps & More Design team will be showcasing one of the cut files from the 17turtles store on their project. Don't forget that each day when you comment on a My Scraps & More blog post, you are entered to win a $10 gift certificate to the My Scraps & More store. One winner is drawn each Monday, so be sure to leave some love for the Design Team this week on their projects they created with the cut files.

This week, you can save 25% off your 17turtles purchase with code MYSCRAPS25 in the 17turtles store.

Here's where you can find 17turtles:

I chose to use the Floral Bouquet cut file from the 17turtles store:

I loved the bold, open lines of this design and thought it would be great with some bright, spring-y colors, so I used some Pinkfresh Studio "Up in the Clouds" papers from the My Scraps store.

Because the papers were so brights, I decided to cut my flowers from white cardstock and do a bit of a white on white design.  When doing white on white, its a good idea to not glue your pieces down entirely flat, so that you can leave a bit of a shadow to make the design stand out better.

It's also a good idea to have some of the white pieces overlapping colored papers, too, to see the designs better.

I used every single piece from the cut file, placing all the little leaves here and there.  Then I layered a lot of the foil die cuts from the collection around the page.

Hope you enjoy all the pages using the 17turtles cut files this week!  Let us know what your favorite is!

Stay scrappy my friends!
