Who Needs Pants?

Haha!  I bet that got your attention :)  Happy Saturday, friends!  It's Missy here with you today.  This page cracks me up...it's a layout about my streaker child who decided to squirm away from me during a diaper change one day and run straight in to the living room where she dumped her cheerios out and needed a snack!  I couldn't resist getting photos of her peek-a-boo tushy showing!

I created this for this week's Word Up Wednesday challenge, which was to use a question as your title using Who, What, When, Where, Why or How.  I used the gorgeous Finnley line from Glitz.  I added a bit of yellow watercolor paint to my background and some gesso behind my journaling to block out the triangles.

 

I added a few layers of paper, a button and some of the amazing big rhinestones from this collection!

This line has a few different alphas on the sticker sheet...I really love these ombre green ones!  I added in some black Thickers as well.

And don't forget the washi tape...man that stuff is GREAT!

Summer flashback..S'mores and a sketch....

Today up on the My Scraps & More Sketch Blog I have a new sketch that I designed.  I wanted to do something different than how my pages normally look, so I came up with a fun design which you can see HERE.

On my page I used the Pebbles "Lakeside" collection (probably one of my favorite summer collections EVER!).  There were some perfect S'mores stickers for my page and I love the "woodsy" feel of the papers.

I also used a few tags from Elle's Studio, too!

 Oh, and here is a little something about my page...I had another photo, but it just wasn't working on my design, so I stuck some paper on it and tucked it behind the journaling area for a pull out card!  I love doing this when my photos don't seem to sit on my pages!

An OOOPS Moment!!!

Well the LO survived, but I was not happy at the time.  If your kids are like mine they tend to swarm you at times and want to be right on top of you.  Well that was my children a few days ago.  I'm sitting at my desk scrapping and all 3 are suddenly around me and asking questions about various things.  My oldest had a question about homework so I rolled my chair over to my computer and was in the process of looking up what he needed to know when he starts leaning all over my desk (no it is not a very clean desk) and pushes my LO and a large piece of cardboard I use as a protection for misting into a 1/4 cup of water I had been using with some paint.  Of course the water soaked 3/4 of my page.  To say I was not happy with him is an understatement.  I quickly blotted the photos dry and sat it aside.  Since I tend to use water for distressing at times, once it was dry I simply incresed the amount of distressing the now warped papers had and it worked out just fine.  Don't tell my son, I try to encourage them to stay away from my desk :)

I created this page using Chic Tags Happy Place Collection. This has become one of my new favorite manufactures.

Girls Weekend.

Hello and good morning...

On of my challenges from the Pinspirational crop, was all about fashion and design. One thing I LOVE seeing on pinterest is how outfits are always put together, down to the jewelry and shoes, you don't even need to think about anything else. I used this outfit PIN for my layout inspiration.  

My challenge from the fashion photo, I want to see the colors: Red, Black, Grey, and White....
Rugged Jeans- Distress on your page....Jewelry- Add Bling...

So I came up with this layout:

I actually mixed the Pebbles Thirty One Halloween line for this page, along with the Chic Tags Christmas line.. bet ya can't tell I used themed paper for a totally non holiday layout.
I used white mist on my black background and added some small bling pieces throughout the page:
 

 I also found this heart card in my stash and added it to the page:

So I'm pretty sure anything on pinterest can inspire you through your scrapbooking, just browse around and see what grabs your attention...
