Make It Rain'

My daughter wanted to use her little picnic table umbrella to pretend it was raining, and daddy made it happen with the hose!   This page goes along with last weeks sketch that I made on the My Scraps & More sketch blog!

The Crate Paper "Pier" collection was perfect for this because of the little chipboard umbrella embellishment!

I layered the chipboard, 3-D embellies, die cuts, and of course papers.  On the background you can see that I machine stitched up and down the page to give the look of rain! :)

And more layering of all kinds of goodies here!

What a Deal!!!

Do you love Echo Park?  I most certainly do, which is proven by the huge amount I have :)  If you do love them as much as I do then you need to check out the store sale section.  There are some pieces of Echo Park for 75% off.  When For the Record 2 came out I had bought the 6x6 paper pad, so I went back recently when I saw that the paper was only 20 cents and ordered a few pieces to go with it.

It worked out so well for my daughters dance recital photo.  There are not a whole lot of collections that have green and black in them.

This Moment Is My Favorite

Lisa here today to share a layout I made using the Fancy Pants Memories Captured Collection. This is one of my favorite collections of theirs!

Love The Hat

Hello and good morning..

It's Wendi here and I'm sharing with you a layout, with one of my new FAVES lines to play with. The Bella Blvd Snapshots collection. As soon as I received the line, I dove right into it, and have been having a blast with all the fun and playful colors and patterns. And the best part about it, it goes with everything!!!

I used the Snapshots line for these fun photos of my lil one trying on hats in the store. She LOVES hats and every time we pass one in the store, she wants to try it on.

I love the cool My Point of View camera papers.

I added some white mist to stand out on the black background, and added an inked wood camera and fussy cut out some hearts for an embellishment cluster:

I can't tell ya how fun this line is!!! you gotta give it a try!!! So head on over to the My Scraps & More store and get the Snapshots line before it's gone..

This first week of school has been crazy busy! I had such plans of sitting at my scrap desk but that didn't happen once! Luckily I had already worked on my page for last weeks sketch...

I used the recent Bella Blvd release, Christmas Countdown, for my page. What a fun collection to play with but then all of Bella's lines are great aren't they!! So Glad We're Friends!

Hey there, My Scraps friends!  Missy here with you on this relaxing Saturday to share a page with you :)  I've had this gorgeous Carta Bella Hello Again line for a while, and I finally had time to break it open...and I'm SO glad I did!  I had to sit and stare at it a while before I started cutting.  It's THAT beautiful!  My favorite paper would have to be the pink/orange ombre one...I used a piece of it at the very top and then as a backing behind the word "friends."

I used my Cameo to cut the word "friends" out of my background sheet, and then I built my photo cluster around that.  I had some perfectly matched buttons in my stash, so I pulled a few out.

I love the elements on the sticker sheet...especially these little people holding hands!  I added a piece of embossed vellum that I had laying around on my desk from another project.

I love adding cord to my pages these days...it's just something fun to add at the end, and I like that it's kind of messy looking.
