13 Today

Hi there, Lisa S here today to share a layout I created for the Sketchathon going on right now in our Forum.  If you haven't been playing along, it's a great way to get some layouts done and you might even win a prize!!
So I decided to mix lines for this layout.  I really like how it turned out!  I used my last piece of Crate Paper Open Book (you know you've been hoarding it too!) and fussy cut flowers and sequins from my last bits of Dear Lizzy Serendipity for this page. I love these Rise and Shine Frames too, so I used one of them for a little more interest.

So don't be hoarding all the cute older lines...time to use them up because there are so many NEW and FUN goodies in the store!!  I can't wait to dig in and now I don't have to feel guilty because I used every last bit of these lines!

I Am...

Hello and happy hump day!
Lisa here today to share a layout I created using sketch #103 from the Sketch Blog and the awesome Simple Stories I Am collection. I absolutely love this collection and think you will too!

Instead of using patterned papers like it looks in the sketch, I decided to add stitching instead. I love the way it turned out.
Here are a few close ups:

Isn't that banner just adorable? and it also has gold in it, LOVE IT!

I used a butterfly punch:

Here is the fun sketch by Audrey:

Don't forget, we have the sketchathon going on all month long and would love to have you join us!

3 Kiddos.

Hello and good morning...

Happy Tuesday!!!!
Today I am sharing a layout with you using the Bella Blvd Color Chaos line.  And honestly, most of the page is taken from one sheet of paper. I used the red heart paper for my center background, and then fussy cut and pulled from the Daily Details paper for the rest of the layout accents.

The photo is of our three kids and was taken last summer.

Here is the Daily Details paper I used. I fussy cut several of the images and then added them through the center section, almost like their own embellishments.

I just love the Bella Blvd Doodads (enamels) with lots of fun shapes to added on the page:

And then topped off the page with a pennant and stitching:

So in case you haven't checked out the Color Chaos line, make sure to look it over. It's PACKED with tons of bright and bold colors to work with.

And here is the sketch I created for this page:

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Life Is Wonderful

Hello!  Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is off to a good start!  I'm happy to share a layout I created using the new Bella Blvd Color Chaos from the My Scraps and More shop!  There is so much colorful goodness in this line! I had a blast creating with it!

The Chipboard Hearts and Stars includes many colors to match up to the papers! I also included a few of the Trinket Stickers as well!

Loving the multi colored stars patterned paper on the A side of Guacamole Strandz!

Showing more of the Trinket Stickers!

Another fun Trinket Sticker and I added in my own Bella Blvd Decorative Tape from my stash! I also layered some of the new Clear Cuts White Confetti under my photo!

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you haven't seen all of the many new goodies Audrey has in the shop, you must check it out!  Have a great day!

Hello Sunshine

Hey there!  It's Missy here with you today.  I decided to  use up some of my stash for this layout.  Sometimes I feel like I'm swimming in papers and embellishments, so I like to try and use up what I have to make room for some of the new collections.  For this layout, I used the Shimelle collection, Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine and some Plus One from American Crafts.  I mixed them together to create a fun and bright Summer layout.  Lots of these lines are still available in the store!

I started by adding some white gesso to fade out some of the circles on the background paper.  I used gelatos and watercolor to add some messy color to it before adding my paper layers under my photo.  I challenged myself to use what I had in my stash with these collections.

I used lots of my own flair buttons for this.  I just love all of these fun and bold colors together!  I think I've had those yellow glitter Thickers for a few years.  They look like they were meant to be on a Summer page, don't they?  Even though the Shimelle collection isn't exactly a Summer line, I still made a few pieces work.

I fussy cut "hello" from a sheet of the Simple Stories paper.  I just LOVE that rainbow gradient look....my favorite!

I cut those hearts from one of the Simple Stories Project Life cards, and I popped up the snowcone with pop dots.  The green paper is from Plus One, and that green color is awesome!

One last close up...I cut the sun out of a 3x3 Simple Stories card and used one of the fun brads and die cuts from the collection.  I also added some orange stitching around the page.

I hope this somehow inspires you to mix and match some of your old stash to create something fun!  I had lots of fun combining these lines together.

Be sure to check out our April Sketchathon going on all month on our forums!  New sketches every day, prizes to be won and lots of fun being had!

Have a great weekend!

Missy :)
