Hello and good morning...


Today I am sharing a layout with you, using one of the yummiest line from Jillibean Soup this past CHA. The Chilled Cucumber Soup collection instantly grabbed my attention with the soft, muted colors and pretty butterflies.

I created this layout using the Jillibean line:

Not only did the line already have butterflies on several of the papers, but it was fun to pull out my trusty butterfly punch and add some more to the page:

 I LOVE the quote from the Chilled Cucumber Bite Sized Bits papers and had to add it onto the layout:

That's my lil cutie keeping busy while reading a book.
The sticker strips are a perfect way to finish of embellishing the page:

Today, You Did It! {Happy NSD!}

Hey there, everyone!   Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  Missy here to share a page I created using the beautiful Park Bench collection from Fancy Pants.  I love how the bright blues & yellows contrast with the blacks & greys.  You can get this line in the store HERE. 

I cut this little thought bubble on my Cameo...I thought it was a perfect sentiment for this occasion of my little one finally walking the length of the hallway by herself :)

I love the little tags that are in this collection.  I roughed up the edges a little bit...something I like to do on almost all of my layouts.

For the Birds!

The new Lily Bee collections are for the birds!  And I mean that in a good way!  :)

The colors of the papers in the Pinwheel line were PERFECT for the colors in my photos of my little guy at the bird exhibit at the zoo.  I tried to pick up on some of the colors in the birds feathers as the basis of my page.

I found a feather svg file and used my die cutting machine to cut it out.  I folded them to give them a bit of lift.  You can also see a bit of stitching on my background paper, too. (the background paper is from the Webster's Pages Composition & Color collection).

I used some wood veneer birds from my stash to go with my theme!

Pool Surfing

Four more days.  That is how long you still have to play along with our Spring into Summer Crop.  I created this page for Wendi's New and Old challenge.  I used Fancy Pants Down by the Shore Collection which was my new, and my old are the rhinestones that came with an old 4th of July collection either last year or the year before (I can't remember).

This Is Happiness!

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Lisa here today To share my layout "This Is Happiness!"
I used the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss collection for my layout. I fell in love with these papers because they are so pretty and would be perfect for any girl layout. Well, I pushed myself to use it on a guy layout, grabbed a photo of my son and husband fishing and I just love the outcome of it!

 

So next time you get a "girly" collection, I dare you to use it on a boy/guy layout!
