Thanks Cards

Hello and good morning....

Since this month is the month of Thanksgiving and gratitude, I though it would be the perfect time to send out a few thank you cards. There some people in my life that deserve a little thanks, and what a better way to say thank you then to create a handmade card. There is something special about going to the mailbox and actually getting a hand addressed card with your name on it, (and not a bill) and then to open it up, and find a special handwritten card and thank you note will surely make someone's day and add a smile to their face.

Good morning, scrappy friends!  Did you remember to set your clocks back an hour?  You probably woke up early this morning, only to realize that you could probably sleep in for another hour :)  I love this day and how it feels so long...thank goodness it's on a weekend, right?

I am here today to share a layout I made using the Hopscotch collection from Fancy Pants.  The colors are what stood out to me at first when I saw this line...so bright and bold.  I'm a sucker for bright pinks, greens  & yellows :)  There are matching buttons (real and chipboard) that coordinate with the papers, too.

Alphas Everywhere

The other day one of the SQOTD was about storing alphabets.  Like lots of others I store the alphas that come with a line, with the line.  I realized while this works great for keeping a liine togther that I then tend to not use these great alphabets for anything else because I forget about them.  When working on some autograph books for a friend who is taking her girls to Disney World I decided to hunt through some of my lines and use up some of these alphabets.  These are the two autographs books I made.

For Brooklynn's book I used For the Record 2 alphas from this sheet.  I had used several others stickers off the sheet and quite a bit of the paper but had not touched a single letter yet.
