I wanted to share this page I created using some Basic Grey Capture and some Crate paper Boys Rule (the same two lines I used on my page last week!  They go SOOO great together!)

I used some puzzle pieces that I cut with my Cameo and layered some stickers and a journaling card.  I outlined the puzzle pieces to make them stand out better.

Around my photo, I layered some stickers, flair, and journaling cards.

The funny thing about this page is that one day while my little guy was doing a puzzle, my mother said to him, "You are amazing at that puzzle".  And he responded, "Yes. I am.".  So this sticker from the Basic Grey Capture sticker sheet was just perfect!

Forever Four Eyes

Hello there, My Scraps friends :)  It's Missy here, and I'm sharing a fun layout I created for a Word Up Wednesday challenge over on our boards last week.  I challenged members to use a number as a word in their title.

I've been waiting to use this adorable paper with the glasses on it for a long time.  This collection is My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Flair, and it's perfect for pictures of people with glasses.  I've worn glasses since I was a 5th grader, but I've never documented it.  So this was perfect!  You can still purchase this line HERE in the store.

I used some gesso to blend out some of the glasses on the busy background near the photo cluster.  I layered a lot of patterned papers and added some tangled thread underneath.  For my title, I used watercolors to paint around some Thickers.  Then I removed the Thickers and traced around the letters with a black pen.  I like the blurry and messy look...as this is how I see when I'm not wearing my glasses.

I found this cute flair badge at Michael's.  It matched my colors perfectly!  I love when you have random tid bits that coordinate with a totally different collection :)

Be sure to join us on our boards...so much fun going on over there!  Lots of challenges and prizes to be won.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Missy :)

Oh Darling!

This line is so adorable and worked perfectly for this pictures from my granddaughter's Spa birthday party last year!!

Of course I had to use some of the awesome embellishments offered in this line too...

I couple of mist spots and enable dots and it was complete!! You can check out everything available in this Crate Paper collection here.

Also...don't forget that today is reveal day on the sketch blog! You can check out the new sketch on the blog here at 10am this morning!!!

Color Color Color

Oh I love color. My boys are getting older so I tend to have to tone it down on their pages for it to fit with their personalities but with Autumn, her personality screams for vibrant colors and I do love playing with them so much.  The Elle's Studio Everyday Moments has some fabulous color to it and all the tags that go along with it work for so many different events.

I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers for this page and I love how you can use different ideas the sketch design teams add in to give your inpsiration.  I just loved how our very own Missy used ric rac on her page.  If you are like me you bought all different colors ric rac when it was popular and still have a ton but never use it anymore :) This page looks like it has a ton going on but I actually used very little paper.  One thing I love about Elle's Studio is the strips on the bottom of each paper do not have to be cut off and throw away  All the strips at the bottom and top of my paper came from those.  Most of the paper next to the photos are tags cuts apart.

LOVE.

Hello and good morning...

Right now I am totally *obsessed* with the Amy Tangerine Plus One line.. It's sooo bright and happy, I'm lovin the mix of colors and patterns.. I fell in love with the line EVEN more once I received it and couldn't stop creating with it!! the patterns are so fun on the papers, I will probably end up using this whole line up completely!!! (don't ya love it when a collection does that to you???)

The photo is of my daughter and I when we went to the Nutcracker back in December:

I cut out some triangles and stitched over them several times... of course adding some of my fave enamel dots:

And LOVE the fun puffy stickers from the collection too:

I also added quite a bit of journaling about where the photo was taken and why we were there:

Make sure to check out the line in the My Scraps & More store HERE....

 Thanks for stopping by today...

Currently....

Currently, my favorite releases are the new Crate Paper ones.  I am especially loving Boys Rule and Styleboard!  Here is a page I recently created using some Boys Rule papers and the Jounraling Cards pack.  There is also a bit of Basic Grey Capture thrown in there, too!  (And FYI, the BG Capture and Boys Rules go GREAT together!)

My layout is about what my daughter currently likes to play on the iPad.  When I was thinking of a design for my page, I was originally going to do a grid, much like the way that Apps are arranged on an iPad or phone.  But I tried layered the squares over one another, and I liked how it looked so I went with it!

Just a few splatters of mist on the background, and lots of pop dots to pop up my photos and title.  I love that I was able to use this collection for a page about my daughter!
