First Day

Hello everyone!  Happy Labor Day weekend to our US friends!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created for this week's Tuesday Trigger challenge!  I used one of my favorite Amy Tangerine lines: Stitched. I love the bright colors with a water color feel!  Its tradition to take photos on the front porch on the first day of school and I couldn't wait to scrap this one!  

I used the multi colored print of Thrifted at the top of my page with the fun calendar print on Felted. These black foam American Craft Thickers were perfect for my title!

 I LOVE these new Mini Washi Tapes from Amy Tangerine's new release: Finders Keepers!  I thought the colors went well with my layout!  

Using my hand punch, I added some pennants from a few of the patterned papers under my photo and at the top of my page. I kind of have a thing for banners!  

 I also added a wood veneer title from Evalicious as well as some fun enamel shapes from my stash!

Life Is Sweet

Hello and Happy Saturday! This past week I had a Word Up Wednesday challenge up on the MSAM forums!  I asked participants to use the word "SWEET" on their page!  I finally broke into my American Crafts' Shimelle True Stories collection. I had been hoarding the beautiful papers and embellishments!  

I used a wooden veneer title from Evalicious'  Life's Sweet collection.  I am so happy Audrey  brought this awesome company into the store!  

I used one of the tags from the Die Cut Cardstock Shapes for my journaling. Also, from the Shapes, I added a bright yellow ruler and cute heart.  The flair and bakers twine are from my stash! 

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe on both the B side of Grey Floral  and Specialty Vellum "Earl Grey".

I'm also loving the die cut clouds!! Super cute accent to your page!

Just Plain Wonderful

Happy Summertime!

Hi there friends!  I'm here to share one last Just Nick cut file page with you today!

  I used the Wobbly Circles file and some Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy products from the My Scraps & More shop!

I actually welded three of the shapes together and then cut a 4th one up into individual circles.  I backed the circles with patterned paper and then just added a few embellies and stitching here and there.

I also used the Ink Splats cut file, too, and cut out some small splatter from grey cardstock.  Don't you think it would be a great idea to cut out a whole bunch of ink splotches from black, white, and grey (and other colors) and just have them on hand, or take them with you when you go to a crop and don't want to bring your paint or mists?

Hello and welcome to the weekend!  Hope yours is off to a great start!  Today, I'm sharing a layout I created for this week's Word Up Wednesday challenge. I used Dear Lizzy's new Fine and Dandy collection from the My Scraps and More Shop! I love the birthday themed embellishments and the fun colors of this line!  

I used of of the gold foil numbers from the Ephemera pack for my title, as well as the cute sentiment tag!  

The collection includes two sheets of 6x12 Chipboard Accents which includes these adorable candles!  For the challenge, I asked participants to incorporate an embellishment they don't use often. I still have a large jar of buttons so I decided to use a few that coordinate with the colors of the papers.  

Loving the bright colors and prints!

Hello and happy Saturday to you!  Today I have a layout I created using
Amy Tangerine's new Rise and Shine collection! I adore the fun, bright colors of this collection!  Perfect for just about any theme for your page!  

I used some of my American Craft black foam Thickers for my title. I think the black helps the pattern colors pop!  

My background is a cute cut file from Just Nick called "Pebbles".  I added different patterns into random windows as well as stamped a sentiment in the center of this particular circle. 

Showing more of the the fun embellishments, including Transparent Stickers and Ephemera Shapes! 

Love the silver accents in this line! Here is a camera die cut that I popped up with foam dots. 

I used a wooden veneer frame from Amy Tangerine's Stitched line and a tag from Rise and Shine for my journaling.  I love how you can mix embellishments from different collection!

Springtime play.....

Happy Monday!  Today we have a snow day!!!  That means staying inside and finding ways to keep ourselves entertained!  :)  Oh how nice it would be to be back outside in the spring when we could do things like blow bubbles (and they wouldn't freeze!).

I used some Crate Paper Kiss Kiss (papers and ephemera pack) and some Dear Lizzy Serendipity on this page.

To stick with my bubble theme, I cut circles of different sizes to add behind my photos and scatter across the page.  I just added a few other black accents here and there, and some stitching and mist sprinkles.
