Love you...

Hi there, Lisa S here today to share this layout I created for our Pinterest Crop. I used a mashup of products, from Crate Paper Shine to Pink Paislee Cedar Lane to create this layout....one of my favorites of the year!

Here's a close up of the layers...I added some enamel dots and Heidi Swapp Color Mist in Gold, my favorite!

Lisa here today to share a layout I created for the Pinspirational Crop going on over on the forum. We would love to have you join in on the fun!
One thing I pin a lot of on Pinterest is food, whether it's an appetizer, main coarse or dessert, I love pinning food!
This layout was inspired by a Pepperoni Pizza Braid recipe. You can check out the photo and challenge over on the forum.

                        I added some paint spatters, sequins and heart veneer throughout my page.

If you have checked out the Pinspirational Crop going on in the forum, then you are truly missing out.. There are 24 challenges going on right now, to play along with.. talk about some good motivation to scrap right?? Here is my challenge example for being inspired by a QUOTE on pinterest.. I LOVE quotes and that you can use them as a title, on the page, or just a part of them in your scrapping... This photo if of my lil one at dance class, a place I totally enjoy just watching her do something she loves to do. I thought this quote was perfect to add on the layout:

 

I used the Maggie Holmes Shine collection, which I have just become in LOVE with!!! I used lots of layers and added a few wood pieces from my stash on the layout:

And used several of the sticker elements on the page, along with some washi tape with pops of gold in it to make the collection:

Grateful Everyday with Pink Paislee

This weekend kicks off the start of our Pinterest Crop. The challenges on the forum are AMAZING, and soooo wide spread. One of my challenges was the use of a hand cut banner on your page. I love banners, paper crafted or otherwise, and love how they add a feel of festivity to pages.

I created this page using my ever still Favorite Cedar Lane line by Pink Paislee. I absolutely over the 5th avenue leaf paper, and knew right away that I wanted to fussy cut all the tiny leaves and create a page frame for my layout. I wanted to keep the inner parts of my page more neutral in color as ot to overwhelm the colors of the leaf border. I stuck to a Kraft paper base and neutral papers Market square and Walnut Street , creating circles and my banners with them.

Using some wooden words from both Evalicious and Simple Stories, I created my title.

Adding the tiny handcut banner was just the right touch to complete my page!

Over The Rainbow

Hello and happy Saturday!  The Pinspirational Crop has begun at the My Scraps and More Forums! Get ready for lots of inspiration and fun challenges!  My first challenge is based on movies and today I'm sharing my page using Maggie Holmes' Shine collection!  Can you guess what my favorite movie is? LOL 

I cut strips from "Cheer" to create a sort of rainbow and layered them across my page. I used glitter black foam American Craft Thickers for my tile and added Shine Chipboard Accents.  

I love the variety of Ephemera in all of the Crate Paper collections! I layered a cute as well as a gold foil banner under my photo. 

More cute chipboard pieces as well as coordinating stickers! I love the gold glitter/black frame! 

More ephemera loveliness!! I also added a doily as well as enamel dots from my stash. 

I color coordinated chipboard and stickers to each of the pattern colors to keep my rainbow theme!

Pinspirational Online Crop Starts Today!

Happy Friday...yay!  It's Missy here again. Today begins our annual Pinspriational Online Crop!  Join us over on our boards for 18 awesome challenges inspired by Pins on Pinterest!  You DO NOT have to actually have a Pinterest account to participate.  The Design Team has chosen specific pins for you and the challenges are based on those.  So go check it out and have loads of fun!

I'd also like to share a layout with you since I'm here :)  I created this layout for a Mix it Up Monday challenge recently.  The challenge was to use an ampersand, some gold and a butterfly.  I used up lots of my Crate Paper goodies on this...pieces I've been hoarding for quite a while.  I used Notes & Things and Open Book mostly.  The ampersand cut file is from The Cut Shoppe.

This layout does have some mixed media work on the background.  I wanted it to be subtle and show through the background cut file.  I did lots of layering on top if it using patterned paper and lots of die cuts.

I just had to use these gold glitter Thickers...I don't use them enough, and they're gorgeous!  I love how they look mixed in with all the Crate Paper pieces.

I love these pinks, light browns, teals and golds together...such a soft and pretty color palette.  It's fun to go through all of the die cuts and piece them all together.

I added some white and gold tangled thread under my photos and layers.  I love how the die cut background looks with the patterned paper....it creates such a fun design element.

Here's one more close up of the bottom.  I did my journaling with a gold pen....it just seemed like the right thing to do :D  And don't forget the gold Color Shine...my favorite!

Be Super!

I love Halloween...it's a chance to let your alter ego take over and just shine...and I love to see what my girls choose to be for Halloween.  My middle daughter chose to be Super Girl this year and I just love that she did.  Moving to Nevada, 515 miles away from home, to go to college was a HUGE step for her and she's been handling it with flying colors!  Super girl she is!!!  I created this layout for the Monday Mix it Up Challenge in the forum.  I used the Crate Paper After Dark line and the layout just flew together~
