I wanted to share with you my latest layout, that is also the latest challenge layout for the Got Talent Contest going on over in the forum area.

I wanted to take the rule of threes, that alot of us scrapbookers and artists tend to work in, and use it towards actual techniques on your pages.
I used the Basic Grey Barista collection... one that I was drooling over since I saw it released in the sneaks. I LOVE the muted colors, which I usually don't tend to gravitate towards, but this line was super cool.

I scrapped a photo of my lil one at the park, she was just too excited playing. I used a set of the Evalicious stamps for my "frappe" drink, and paper pieced it together. A technique I haven't used in awhile so it was kinda fun.

I used a few of the Lifes Sweet Evalicious snips throughout the page:

And used a few of the Basic Grey Barista sticker circles and cut them in half and added them on the layout:

I got messy with some gesso and some mist splats through the page and had fun with it.

Choose Happy with Pink Fresh Studios

I instantly fell IN LOVE with the new collection by Pink Fresh Studios called Happy Things. The colors are so amazingly vibrant and the patterns are so fun and playful.

I chose to start my layout with the botanical/sparkle paper as my background. I loved the slight ombre look to the paper making the perfect subtle detail. Since my photos were black and white, and some of my embellishments were also black I chose to mat my background paper in black cardstock, making everything really POP!
I fussy cut into the happy words paper, creating a photo map and grid look for my photos. Sticking to the grey elements helped make the other colors throughout my layout stand out.

I continued my fussy cutting pattern by using the rustic patterns paper for the floating colorful triangles around my page! I love the color it added without looking too busy!

To finish of most of my layouts, I love adding a natural element of some sort, so I knew I just had to have the wood veneer stickers when I saw them!! Using the power of threes and triangle idea on my page to balance the page, I placed a few of these stickers around my page for a fun look.
I loved how fun this page turned out and it makes my so happy with all of the fun colors and patterns!This is the perfect paper for playing with fussy cutting. You can find more papers to play with from the collection in the store, and still get in your 20% off with the August code!

Meet Me Under The Stars

Hi there friends! Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using Cocoa Vanilla's Hello Lovely collection from the MSAM shop! Cocoa Vanilla have a variety of fun prints and bright colors! Plus, I love the thickness of the papers!  

I used a cut file for my title from Just Nick Studios along with silver foil paper from my stash.  I also added some of the matching Hello Lovely Vellum Hearts to accent!

Here is a close up of some of the vellum hearts! I added splashes of ink as well as colored brads and enamel dots from my stash.

I love the prints in Hello Lovely! Lots of variety of color that compliment each other! 

I created a banner using a starburst hand punch and more brads! I stitched through with my sewing machine to finish.

Sweet, Lovely & Fabulous

Hey there, My Scraps fans!  It's Missy back with you today.  I'm sharing a layout that I created for last week's Word Up Wednesday challenge.  I challenged our members to create a layout using three different adjectives as their title.  I couldn't wait to dig into the new Cocoa Vanilla Hello Lovely collection!  It is even MORE gorgeous in person!  I seriously fell in love with every piece of this.  The pictures don't even do it justice.

I started with this text background paper, which from the boy collection (Cocoa Vanilla Made of Awesome).  I added white gesso and some white acrylic paint and then used a big chevron stencil and some more paint, which I dabbed over using a foam brush.  Then I used the packaging technique with some gelatos and watercolors to add the blue.

My favorite part of putting this page together was creating those FABULOUS letters.  I hand drew them and fussy cut them out....so easy and fun!

I love this trend of hand cut letters.  It's okay if they're crooked or wonky...I love them that way!  I stitched through them all and then added a few die cuts on top of a few of them.  I also used some striped washi tape from my stash here as well as lots of stickers from the collection.

Here's a look at the bottom cluster...stickers, die cuts and enamel dots.  I used the orange tab for my date.

This collection includes some vellum hearts....swoon!  I stapled one to my photo.  I love how subtle it is.  There are also these gorgeous flair buttons.

This butterfly was the first thing I saw that inspired me.  I immediately cut it out first thing, knowing that somehow I was going to make it work on my page.

Hi there, Lisa here today to share a layout I created for our Got Talent contest over on Facebook and in the forum. I had so much fun using the fun summer line ...Simple Stories Summer Vibes tp create this layout.  The challenge for the contest was to create your own title, using no premade alphabets.  I cut my title from watercolor paper and then hand painted it to match my layout.

Hey there scrappy friends!

I am sharing a page I created using Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss along with some stuff from my stash:

 

I love adding watercolor to my background! Check out that clear tag with the gold triangles on it- that's from Ephemera pack.

                             That frame is from Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine, I believe. I added a bit of stitching to it and stitched the black title letters:

 

I added a few rub-ons from my stash- the arrow and "magical" ones are from BoBunny:

 

 

Check out the wood veneer "Life Is Sweet"- that's from Evalicious and my new found love! LOL!

I colored it with pink and green Gelatos. The "summer" is also from my rub-on stash:

Happy Tuesday!!!!

I used the Simple Stories So Rad line, a super cool boy collection to work with. I scrapped this photo of my son playing cards, its become quite a favorite past time for him. It's also kinda fun to watch the kids get older and become interested in more grown up games and activities.

I fussy cut the large circles from the RAD patterned paper and then punches the smaller circles and then also used some of the Bits & Pieces die cuts:

I also busted out some washi tape from my stash and added a bit of it:
