My Sweet Girl

Hello and good morning...

Today I sharing a layout with you that was one of the examples from the Got Talent III contest going on in the forums..

Do you all remember that joke about Pete and Repeat were walking down the street. Pete fell down, and who was left? That is a classic one growing up at our house.

This challenge is all about REPEAT... so Pick a shape, and repeat it at least 3 times IN at least 2 or more places..For my shape, I picked a pattern out of the Echo Park paper and fussy cut it out. Then I used 3 in each set, two times on the page.

I used Echo Park's Beautiful Life papers for this layout.
I also fussy cut doily's from the papers and then added one with some misting:
And then added a fun tag with twine to pop out of the top:

Make sure to check out Echo Park's Beautiful Life collection in the My Scraps store... I've been pretty addicted to it, and can't seem to get enough of it..

Have a wonderful day....

Inside Her Mind - Fancy Pants

Happy Saturday, friends!  Missy here with a page I created using the new Fancy Pants collection What a Wonderful Day.  I just love this line!  I know I say that about all the new lines, but I really mean it :)

I used masks, modeling paste, color shine and stamps to create my background.  It was just random placement, really.  Then I built my center cluster around my photos and the papers I wanted to use.  There are so many fun elements in this collection...definitely no shortage of fun embellishments to add here and there!

A close-up of the stamping...

Here you can see the texture that modeling paste gives...it's so fun and easy to use!  And don't you just love those cork hearts?!

These fun banners are in the collection...they add such a fun touch!

And here's a button from the collection...seriously...so many fun pieces here!

You really should get your hands on this collection if you haven't....I have had a blast creating with it!  Check out the store...tons of new things just in and even more on the way!

Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Missy :)

It's a "Wonderful Day"

Fancy Pants has really been knocking it out of the park with their recent releases, like the "Wonderful Day" collection that I used to make this page.  I love the cork look with flowers and soft colors like the pink!

I spent a LONG TIME fussy cutting some of those flowers (and some are die cuts).  I actually started the design of this page by just simply cutting elements from the papers and scattering them on the page.  The rest just fell into place, really.

Do you see those???  I actually busted out some BRADS from my stash!  And I am just loving the Fancy Pants cork elements....

I love the depth that flair adds to a page. Oh and those arrows are fussy cut, too!

It's All About the Color

This week Audrey's mini challenge for the Got Talent Contest was to create a page using this color combo.

These happen to be some of my favorite colors to scrap with.  They are so bright and fun.  I decided to take the challenge and use Simple Stories I Heart Summer line to create this page of my sun at the beach.

Our Got Talent Contest is winding down.  You have until tonight at midnight to complete either the main or mini challenge to be entered into the this weeks drawing.  There are only 2 more weeks of challenges left and then we will have the grand prize drawing.  Still plenty of time to go back and create your LO's from any of the past challenges to get drawings in for the main prize.  And don't forget gallery and forum post get you chances for extra draws as well.

Citrus Squeeze

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Lisa here today to share a layout I made using Webster Pages Citrus Squeeze collection. This line is so fun and just screams SUMMER but is versatile enough to use for everyday layouts as well. I added some paint drips, stitching, bling and distressing to this layout. I also did quite a bit of fussy cutting:

Here is a close up:

Next time you are in the store and looking for a fun summer line to try, pick up some of this collection!

Dream Big

Hello and good morning...

I have been knee deep in the Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day collection and been having a blast with it!!! the colors and patterns are fun and playful, and work perfect for sooo many occasions. It's also a great summer line to work with to pull the colors from esp when summer photos are usually cheerful and happy.

I created this page of my daughter and mixed and matched several of the patterns from this line:
I went with a longer title for this page... Don't Be Afraid 2 Dream Big...
I used several of the label stickers through the page:
I also fussy cut several rows of the chevron paper to add some playfulness to the page from the Astounding paper:
Make sure to check out this collection!!!! It's a TON of fun to use...

Have a wonderful day
