Wendi's So In Love With You Kit

Hello and good morning...

I am soooo excited to share my kit reveal with you today. I worked with the "So In Love With You" kit this month.. I just LOVED it.. the kit was completely packed with such a fun variety  and mix of papers from several manufacturers.. This is why I LOVE Tammi's kits... putting together papers that I wouldn't normally pair together..

My first page with the kit is of my sister from her recent wedding:

 I cut out some triangles and added some pink Sharpie pen doodles on them to make them pop off the page a bit:

 I also created my own embellishments, first by cutting out a flower from the MME flower paper and crumpling it, and then added some twine to the Bella Blvd button:

 Lastly, I wanted their photo to be the focal point of the page, but LOVED the lovebird paper and had to add just a bit of it on the layout. Plus I thought by border punching some scallops, it would add a soft feel on the page:

 My second layout is about my sweet daughter and her first kisses that she learned how to give:

 I LOVED the fun pink ink that was included in the kit, it really added a super soft feel to all my projects using the kit.
 I stitched over my triangles and mixed and matched papers to add lots of color:

 The LIPS embellishment from the kit was the perfect accent piece:

 These layouts are just a hint of what I finished with this kit.. It was truly packed full of papers and goodness!!!!

A Late Night Read

Hey there, scrappy friends!  Missy here to share a page with you :)

I am so excited about the new releases coming soon to the store...with CHA this weekend, it won't be long before we will want to buy up all the new scrappy goodness!  I'm on a mission to use up some of my older lines.  This For The Record 2 Documented line was one of my favorites from Echo Park.  I believe this is my fourth page using it, and I still have more to go.  If you've been following fellow DT member Tracy's posts, you'll know that she suggested this idea, and I decided to give it a go.  There is no sense in hoarding all of those beautiful papers!

Anyway, here is my page...lots of fun layers, some misting & stamping...some buttons & twine...and some washi tape thrown in.

Breakfast in Bed anyone???

Another Friday and another sketch today on the My Scraps & More Sketch blog!  I usually tend to stray a bit from sketches, but this one I mostly stuck with the design.

I used my die cutting machine to cut out a hexagon background and then added some paper behind it.I toned down the background paper by giving it a white wash, and stuck to just a few clusters of embellies here and there!

Take Note, It's all gone!

If you have been following along you know of my resolution to use up the old.  I'm quite proud of my accomplishments.  I've gotten more pages done in the last few weeks than I have in the last few months.  Echo Parks Note To Self collection was one of the must haves for me.  With 2 boys and 4 nephews the colors were absolutely fabulous.  It is officially all gone now.

Frog Hunting Wednesday!

LOL! Lisa here today to share my frog hunting layout I made using the Echo Park Carta Bella Happy Little Moments Collection. This kit comes with different sizes of divided page protectors to make scrapbooking a breeze!

Love Layout

Hello and good morning....

I was sooo super in love with the October Afternoon Woodland line when it came out. But, sadly I hoarded mine and put it aside because it was just too dang cute to use.. LOL.. have you ever done that? Not used a line you loved because you didn't want to break it in???

So I finally dug mine out and used it on this page of my husband and I:

I also used some of the Bella Blvd Washi Tapes, which have become some of my favorite washis.. I just LOVE the bright colors and patterns they come in:

I accented with some butterflies on the page, and a touch of misting:

and I just adored these cute little bunnies... how cute are they?
